1. Who we are

2. What this notice covers

This notice applies to this website, r2asolarsolutions.com, including the savings calculator and the quote request form. It does not cover third-party sites we link to.

3. Information we collect

Information you give us when you request a quote or contact us:

Full name
Email address (required unless the form says otherwise)
Mobile number, if you choose to give one
The city or municipality of the property, and whether it is a home or a business
A range for your average monthly electricity bill, if you choose one
Any note you write

We also record that you ticked the consent box. We do not ask for a street address, a utility account number or any document.

Savings calculator: the figure you enter is used to show an estimate in your browser. It is not sent to us unless you submit the quote form, and the form does not send it.

Information collected automatically:

Basic technical data handled by our hosting provider to deliver the site and protect it from abuse, such as IP address, browser type, pages requested and time of request.
Nothing else. This site does not use analytics or advertising trackers.

We do not knowingly collect information from children under 18. We do not ask for government ID numbers, bank details or payment card data through this site.

4. Why we use it, and our legal basis

We do not sell your personal information. We use your contact details only to respond about your inquiry, not for unrelated marketing.

We share personal information only with service providers that help us run the site and handle inquiries, under agreements that require them to protect it and use it only on our instructions. At the time of writing these are:

Web hosting and network security: Cloudflare, Inc.
Email delivery: Brevo, which sends each quote request to us as an email
Email inbox: Gmail, where we receive and keep quote requests

We may disclose information when required by law, a court order or a government authority.

6. Transfers outside the Philippines

The providers above operate servers outside the Philippines, so your information may be processed and stored in other countries. Brevo states that its data centers are in the European Union. Cloudflare serves the site from data centers around the world, and the Gmail service also runs outside the Philippines. We remain responsible for the information we hand to them.

7. How long we keep it

Inquiries that do not lead to a contract: 12 months after our last contact with you, then deleted or anonymized.
Customers: for as long as the contract and any warranty or legal and tax record-keeping requirements apply, and for as long as the law requires us to keep tax and accounting records.
Website technical logs: our own code keeps no log of visits or of what you type into the form. It records only a short label for each submission, such as “sent”, and, for one day, a random request number so that a retry does not send the same request twice. Our hosting provider keeps its own network records under its terms.

8. How we protect it

We use organizational, physical and technical measures appropriate to the risk, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), validation and spam controls on the form, a limit on how often one address can submit, and not recording form contents in server logs.

If a personal data breach occurs that is likely to put you at real risk of serious harm, we will notify the National Privacy Commission and affected individuals within the period required by law, which is currently 72 hours from knowledge of the breach.

9. Your rights

Under the Data Privacy Act you have the right to:

Be informed about how your personal information is processed.
Access the personal information we hold about you.
Object to processing, including withdrawing consent at any time. Withdrawing does not affect processing done before withdrawal.
Correct inaccurate or outdated information.
Erasure or blocking of information that is incomplete, outdated, false, unlawfully obtained or no longer needed, subject to legal retention duties.
Data portability, meaning a copy of your data in a commonly used electronic format where we process it by electronic means.
Be indemnified for damages caused by inaccurate, false, unlawfully obtained or unauthorized use of your personal information.
File a complaint with the National Privacy Commission, at privacy.gov.ph or by phone at +63 2 5322 1322.

To use any of these rights, contact us using the details in Section 1. We may ask you to confirm your identity. We aim to respond within 15 days.

10. Cookies and similar technologies

This site does not use cookies for tracking or advertising.

It remembers your choice of light or dark theme in your browser’s local storage, under the name r2a-theme. That setting holds no personal information and is not sent to us. You can clear it in your browser settings.

11. Links to other sites

Our site may link to other sites, such as maps or social media. We are not responsible for their privacy practices. Read their notices before sharing information.

12. Changes to this notice

We will post changes on this page and update the date at the top. If a change affects how we use information you already gave us, we will tell you or ask for your consent again where the law requires it.
